The trail starts at the Bailey Bridge in Blanchisseuse. This foot trail goes up hill for 45 mins through clean forest to the Ridge top before descending left at a well-marked T junction. The Avocar Riverbed is (30 mins) downhill from here. A short (10, min) walk up the riverbank and across the river, takes hikers to a tall waterfall which can be heard some distance away. The pond is relatively small but good for bathing. The fall is tall and majestic. A must see. Check weather conditions before visiting this location.
