El Cierro del Aripo The highest mountain Ridge in the twin island state of TnT. Consist of a number of rolling peaks. Access to the trail head is from Ialaja road, via the Blanchisseuse Arima Road. This trail starts at the end of Ialaja Rd where it makes a Y with Paria Rd. Hikers will scale 7 rolling peaks through dense forest with very little views.
There are significant flora and fauna that are unique to the ecology at these heights. A knowledgeable guide is recommended when doing this hike. The walk to the survey monument is approximately 2 hrs. Rating 4, moderate to challenging.
