A Unique Coraline Limestone Riverbed with cascading waterfalls.
This is a riverbed walk up to the head of the Turure River. Access is easiest from the bridge crossing, where there is adequate parking. From this point, the hike straddles upriver for approximately 45 mins. It includes river crossings where water is less than knee high, and could involve some river walking where the water is mostly shin high.
Your destination is a series of water curtains fashioned in a natural step-like series of falls and bathing pools. The river bed is littered with Maraval lillies and pink hot lips. A manikin lec could be seen on top the short clay mound mid-way along this hike. Rating is easy.
